Housing
Assistance Program (HAP)
The Housing Assistance
Program assists people with severe mental illness who
have a history of homelessness and unstable living
conditions.
Stable housing is a cornerstone of recovery and an
improved quality of life. HAP assists people with a
mental illness to find and maintain safe, decent, affordable
housing. This is accomplished through rent subidies,
loans, and support that lead to successful independent
living.
