New Housing Opportunities'
Social Enterprise Program is designed to provide
supportive employment opportunities for Mental Health
Consumers. Currently, this enterprise is limited
to NHO's Property Services Program, that maintains:
Due to education
level, lack of work experience, and ongoing psychiatric
disabilities, mental health consumers that have a
desire to work often experience difficulty in finding
and keeping a satisfying and good paying job. Studies
show that mental health consumers are more successful
finding and keeping a job if they have support. For
some mental health consumers, the Social Enterprise
Program may offer them their first oportunity to
enter the world of work. For others it may be a chance
to return to work after a long absence due to psychiatric
disabilities or previous negative work experiences.
No matter the challenge, we have put together a great
team that can effectively meet your personal or organization's
property maintenance, building rehab or lawn care
needs. And, as an added bonus, by doing business
with us you are helping undeserved individuals in
